Hospital pharmacies
Pharmacy of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG)¶
As an associated institution, the HUG Pharmacy supplies medicines to all the healthcare services of the University Hospitals of Geneva (choice, purchase, storage, distribution). It contributes to the safe use of medicines through production of medicines oriented towards personalized preparations and through support to care units in the areas of logistics, dispensing and administration of medicines.
The HUG Pharmacy contributes to pre- and post-graduate education and conducts research and development work in its various areas of activity.

Pharmacy of the Vaudois University Hospital Center (CHUV)¶
The missions of the CHUV pharmacy service are:
- ensure the hospital's supply of pharmaceutical products,
- promote the rational use of these products and ensure their correct application,
- ensure teaching and research in the field of hospital pharmacy,
- enforce legal provisions.
As a partner institution, the CHUV pharmacy plays an important role in the training and teaching of Specialized Higher Studies Diplomas (DESS).
