Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences
This program is open to holders of a Bachelor in pharmaceutical sciences from a Swiss university or equivalent. The Master degree grants access to the federal exam leading to the pharmacist diploma and allows pursuing a PhD. The program spans two years: a theoretical first year followed by a second year largely dedicated to internships.

Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences
1st year
The first year focuses on specialization. Students deepen drug-related knowledge from discovery to commercialization, including modeling and data analysis. Professional pharmacy practice topics are also taught. Legal, regulatory and health communication aspects are introduced. Students choose elective courses, are introduced to vaccination, and continue interprofessional training with practical simulations and interdisciplinary projects.

2nd year
The second year is mainly composed of internships (research, community pharmacy, etc.), enabling mobility. Students complete 20 weeks of research and 20 weeks in a pharmacy. Additional hospital pharmacy coursework and interprofessional modules are included. Optional internships can extend experience. Students consolidate professional competencies required for pharmacy careers.
