Information of the Pharmacy Student Secretariat
Are you aiming to obtain a Swiss Federal Diploma of Pharmacy (FPH) specialist qualification in community pharmacy, or do you wish to expand the scope of your pharmacy practice beyond simply dispensing medication?
Are you looking for continuing education courses that are out of the ordinary?
The Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Western Switzerland (ISPSO), in collaboration with the Unisanté Pharmacy, is offering the 4th edition of the CAS Clinical Pharmacy - Primary Care Services in 2021. This course, certified by a diploma from the University of Geneva, can be completed in one or two years (19 days divided into seven modules), without a thesis or final exam, and at university rates (approx. CHF 320 per day). It is accredited as postgraduate training with 1,700 FPH points (remember that 3,000 FPH points are required for an FPH specialist qualification in community pharmacy). It is also possible to take individual modules, which are also recognized as postgraduate training and accredited with FPH points (approximately 300 points per module).
The module leaders (Professor Marie Schneider and PD Dr. Jérôme Berger) will introduce you to speakers from diverse backgrounds (physicians, engineers, patients, pharmacists, etc.) from Switzerland and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to join a community of pharmacists interested in innovation and the development of our profession. Please note that if necessary, the course can be delivered entirely online should the health situation require it.
